Summer 2014 Week 1 (June 9th)

Welcome to the first week of summer shares. Thank you for hanging in there as we changed the schedule last minute. For any questions on handling the produce, please see our “What We Grow” page (I’ll put links in each week when we get new things). The oddest things we have this week are the microgreens (fantastic as a snack, garnish, or salad addition), the flower stalks of shallots known as scapes (think of them as large green onions and you’ll do well), and rhubarb (just see this).
