Summer 2014 Week 12 (August 25th)

The first day of school. Good grief. Here’s the post, finally.

The peaches and nectarines:  I went through all of mine, found the bruised ones, and cut them up immediately to put on cottage cheese the next couple days.  I will repeat this every couple days this week until they’re gone or I’ve eaten them all whole.  I did the same with a bruised lemon cuke while taking pictures.  With cucumbers, tomatoes, and lettuce all in one week, I won’t need to tell you to make salads.  I have a backlog of summer squash, and I eat that as a side a couple times a week — I’ll work on some more suggestions.
