Fall 2014 Week 5 (Oct 28th)

I’m going to guess on the shares this week, but I’ll include pictures of everything from my box. I might have gotten something you didn’t, and you might have gotten something I didn’t. But I’m guessing we all got pretty much the same.

New this week are the dinosaur kale (very tender and sweet, good for salads) and sunchokes (crunchy roots of sunflower relatives, follow that link for good suggestions).

I’ve been chopping up the tomatoes with a little mozzarella and some olive tapenade. The sunchokes are going into a pan to roast with other roots.
