Winter 2014 Week 4 (Dec 23rd)

Happy Holidays!

The parsnips, rutabaga, and last week’s frozen tomatoes went into a skillet (thinly sliced) with some bacon last night when I got the veggies home. Rutabaga is basically a big, sweet turnip, so it would also be good mashed with potatoes or fried with apples.
