Cucumbers and squash always mean that summer is fully engaged. Tomatoes must be right around the corner.
I didn’t get a list this week, so I can’t divide out the medium vs the small. But we’ve seen all of these items before.
Kale (big, dark green stuff — probably tougher and stronger than previous)
Yellow squash (large, more like zucchini)
Yellow squash (small, tender and bumpy)
Sorrel (lemon spinach)
Baby red kale
Baby bok choy (toss into instant ramen to make gutter into gourmet)
Striped Armenian cucumbers (dark green with ridges)
