Much of the same, but no complaints here about local, organic (not certified) veggies to keep us healthy through the winter. And the greens (arugula, turnip greens) are much more tender and not bitter like they get with the heat of summer. This Slow Cooker Root Vegetable Stew looks like a perfect make ahead meal, just need some couscous and a green salad. I love the starchy purple potatoes but this week’s more waxy variety will work better with this Austrian Potato Salad. Happy eating everyone.
