Cilantro, broccolini, miniature romain, soy bean sprouts (use today or blanch for later), arugula, baby bok choy, spinach, brussels, carrots, onion, fennel, yukon gold potatoes, kohlrabi, green meet radish, baby napa cabbages, rutabagas, fuji apples, garlic and shallot.

Winter 2019-2020 Week 6 (Jan 7th)

Chinese Broccoli, bok choy, carrots, mung bean sprouts, kabocha squash, fuji apples, collard greens, green cabbage, minature romain, turnip greens, broccoli, green meat radish, garlic, shallot, onion, and yukon gold potatoes.

Since the sprouts need to be used quickly I based dinner on them tonight.  Egg roll in a bowl is cooking away on the stove while rice is steaming. The chinese broccoli, bok choy, carrots, and half the green cabbage went in too.

Winter 2019-20 Week 5 (Dec. 31st)

Lacinto Kale, fuji apples, petite potatoes, swiss chard, bok choy, purple cabbage, kabocha squash, kale, radishes, cilantro, broccoli, beets, parsnips, carrots, onionn garlic.

Definitely planning on 10-spice soup with this box.  Even the pickiest people eat it and it uses lots of kale.  Our broccoli and petite potatoes were roasted last night and dipped in cheese fondue along with bread and apple.

Winter 2019-20 Week 2 (Dec. 10th)

Carrots & parsnips (cut off photo), swiss chard, leek, yukon gold potatoes, green cabbage, arugula, spinach, bok choy, onion, garlic, cilantro, fennel, kohlrabi, broccoli, kabocha squash, soy bean sprouts.

Anyone else have a few kohlrabis?  Try a pureed soup that also uses the yukon golds, or a traditional german recipe of steamed kohlrabi with cream sauce.  A few weeks ago I used cilantro and sprouts to make pho. I was happy to see the larger spinach, it stands up better to a sautee (instead of wilting into a dense pile like baby spinach) and can be added to the swiss chard.
