Zoe’s Garden offers Vegetarian Shares through all four seasons of our CSA.  There’s no sprays, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers used on the farm.  All of the produce sold by Zoe’s Garden is grown by Zoe’s Garden employees – no trading or purchasing from other sources.  In addition to our CSA shares, you can also purchase whole lambs or beefs from the farmer (see below).

CSA Shares:

Small = $35/week;  The small is roughly a really full shopping basket (the ones with handles that you can carry around the store), but that fluctuates as the season progresses.  It feeds two vegetarians pretty well with very little grocery shopping, or a small family that adds meat and some other items.  Ten to twelve items weekly, not too much of any one thing.

Medium = $55/week;  The medium is about half again as much volume, with a little more variety.  A family of four omnivores can handle that with very little extra shopping.  Twelve to fifteen items weekly, with slightly larger volumes on an item or two.

Large = $105/week;  The large feeds a family of 5-6 very well, but only if they cook from scratch almost every night.  The large gets more variety because there are fewer large shares and smaller / harder to harvest / more delicate crops can be split between just a few boxes.  Twenty to twenty-five items weekly, with small amounts of many things and larger amounts of a few.

  • Meat with a balanced ratio of Omega-3 to Omega-6 fatty acids

Whole beef or lamb are available to order (call us).  You’ll be purchasing a live animal which the farmer will assist in transporting to and from the butcher.
